Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and secure web applications using the Laravel framework and PHP.
Write clean, efficient, well-documented, and reusable code adhering to best practices and coding standards.
Collaborate closely with product managers, UI/UX designers, and front-end developers to define, design, and ship new features.
Optimize application performance, security (adhering to OWASP guidelines), and scalability through effective use of caching strategies (Redis, Memcached) and efficient database queries.
Manage and optimize database schemas and queries across various SQL databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQLite, and MariaDB.
Participate actively in code reviews, providing constructive feedback and ensuring code quality, reliability, and adherence to architectural patterns.
Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex issues and bugs, ensuring the stability and reliability of our applications.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes, tools, and infrastructure.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in BTech, BCA, MCA, or a related technical field.
1-3 years of professional experience developing web applications, with a strong focus on Laravel and PHP.
Proficient understanding and practical experience with the Laravel framework, including its ecosystem, eloquent ORM, routing, middleware, and queues.
Solid expertise in PHP programming language, including object-oriented programming (OOP) principles and design patterns.
Extensive experience with SQL databases, including strong query optimization skills and practical knowledge of MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQLite, or MariaDB.
Strong command of front-end technologies: HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
Demonstrable experience with caching strategies and technologies like Redis or Memcached.
Fundamental understanding of system design principles and software architecture.
Familiarity with web security best practices and the OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities.
Experience with version control systems, preferably Git.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with modern front-end frameworks such as Vue.js, React, or Angular.
Familiarity with RESTful API design and development.
Understanding of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and their services.
Knowledge of Docker and containerization.
