Key Responsibilities:
Technical SEO
• Conduct in-depth technical SEO audits (crawlability, indexability, site architecture, internal linking, canonicalization, redirects, XML sitemaps, robots.txt)
• Improve Core Web Vitals, page speed, and mobile usability
• Implement and troubleshoot structured data / schema markup
• Monitor and resolve issues via Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, Ahrefs/SEMrush, and similar tools
• Manage log file analysis and crawl budget optimization for larger sites
On-Page SEO
• Optimize meta titles, meta descriptions, headers, image alt text, and URL structures
• Perform keyword research and mapping, and guide content teams on on-page best practices (E-E-A-T aligned)
• Optimize existing pages and new page launches for target keywords and search intent
• Track rankings, organic traffic, and page-level performance; report on trends and recommend fixes Cross-Functional & Project Collaboration
• Manage on-page/technical SEO across multiple ongoing website/SEO projects at once, prioritizing effectively
• Work closely with the off-page SEO team to align technical, content, and link-building efforts toward shared ranking goals
• Coordinate with developers to implement technical fixes and with content writers/strategists on optimization guidelines
• Stay current with Google algorithm updates, AI-powered search (AEO/SGE), and evolving SEO best practices
Requirements
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in On-Page and Technical SEO (agency or in-house)
• Strong working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript as it relates to SEO
• Proven experience with tools such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics/GA4, Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, SEMrush, or similar
• Solid understanding of Core Web Vitals, structured data/schema, site architecture, and crawl optimization
• Experience managing SEO for multiple websites/projects concurrently
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable recommendations
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with content, off-page/link-building, and development teams
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Computer Science, or related field (preferred, not mandatory)
Good to Have
• Experience with large-scale content rollouts or multi-website portfolios
• Familiarity with AI search optimization (AEO), international/multilingual SEO, or CMS platforms (WordPress, Webflow, etc.)
• Relevant certifications (Google Analytics, HubSpot SEO, SEMrush Academy, etc.)
