Job Title: Technical Project Manager
Shift Timings: 3:00 PM to 12:00 AM IST
Experience Level: 3+ years
Employment Type: Full-time | On-site
We are looking for a highly articulate, client-facing Technical Project Manager to lead our software development lifecycles and serve as the primary bridge between our development team, sales team, and clients.
In this hybrid role, you will not just manage timelines—you will actively own the client relationship. You will translate business needs into technical blueprints, showcase project value through live demos, and proactively identify opportunities to expand and upsell our services.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Project Delivery & Team Management
- Lead cross-functional teams of developers, designers, and QA engineers to deliver high-quality software products.
- Translate vague client requirements into clear, precise, and actionable technical specifications.
- Track project milestones, manage timelines, proactively mitigate risks, and unblock developers to ensure on-time delivery.
2. Client Success & Commercial Growth
- Act as the dedicated, primary point of contact for clients, conducting regular progress meetings.
- Lead high-impact product demonstrations and walkthroughs for client stakeholders.
- Actively listen to client pain points during ongoing projects to pitch additional features, modules, or services.
3. Pre-Sales & Requirement Gathering
- Partner with the sales team during the discovery phase of new leads.
- Conduct technical requirement gathering sessions with prospective clients to evaluate project scope and technical feasibility.
- Assist in drafting accurate technical proposals, estimations, and Statements of Work (SOWs).
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Communication: Near-native, impeccable verbal and written English. Confident presentation and negotiation skills suited for different business stakeholders.
- Technical Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a highly technical field (or equivalent hands-on software delivery experience).
- Core Concepts: Solid understanding of software development, APIs, web/mobile architectures, cloud systems. You must be able to hold your own in a conversation with senior developers.
- Tools of the Trade: Expert-level proficiency with project management tools, specifically Jira and Confluence.
- Shift Commitment: Absolute comfort and alignment with working the regular 3:00 PM to 12:00 AM IST shift.
What Makes You a Great Fit
- You are a "translator"—you can explain complex technical code to a non-technical client, and turn a vague client idea into logical steps for a developer.
- You have a sharp commercial mind and naturally spot business opportunities during routine catch-up calls.
- You thrive in fast-paced environments and can balance managing internal engineering sprints while simultaneously hosting external client demos.
